The longer growing season is the only thing I envy about my friends and family living in Cali. I love the change of seasons in New England. We’re in the middle of mud season (aka black fly season) right now, then tourist season will hit and before you know it zucchini season will be here!
I live about a ½ mile from the beach and have often thought of having the kids each make a stone like your husband and daughter’s. We’d embed stones, shells, sea glass and sea pottery and then dust it with sand while still wet. I now have the perfect place to put them too!
