Patchy Claus Charity 2017

November 26, 2017 / Posted by in News

It’s that time of year again for Patchy Claus! We are excited to say we are celebrating our 11th year raising money for charities Stephen and Mary Beth support.

This year Mary Beth has chosen CASA of Los Angeles for her charity. As many of you know Mary Beth has been a children’s advocate at CASA for several years. She was honored by CASA in a ceremony in May of this year for her service.

What CASA does: CASA of Los Angeles improves the lives of children in the dependency system by pairing them with trained volunteer advocates, which takes these five key actions: Advocate, Support, Investigate, Report, and Recommend. For more information please go to their website: www.casala.org.
Stephen has chosen The Committee to Protect Journalists as his charity.

What The Committee to Protect Journalists does: The Committee to Protect Journalists is an independent, nonprofit organization that promotes press freedom worldwide. They defend the right of journalists to report the news without fear of reprisal. For more information please go to their website: https://cpj.org/.

We will be collecting money until December 31st 9pm ET. You can use fanclub@stephennichols.net to send PayPal payments. Please use the friends and family option when sending money so they won’t charge a fee. Please let us know in the note on PP what charity and if it’s to be divided between both evenly or what amount. If you don’t have a PayPal account you may send a check or money order MADE OUT TO THE CHARITY to: Stephen Nichols Fanclub, 147 Spalding Court, Athens, GA 30605. Please make sure you mail in time for it to be received by December 31st. We will be sending the money to the charities before midnight on that date.

Any amount is acceptable; from one dollar and up. We will be sending a list of everyone who donates to Stephen and Mary Beth. We wish to thank everyone for being so generous these past years. We have contributed to many worthy causes that Stephen and Mary Beth have supported. Thanks in advance to those of you who can contribute this time around.
